Marianna Grossman was invited to attend the California Climate Risk: Insurance-based Approaches to Mitigation and Resilience conference at UCLA, hosted by CA Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara (photo on left), in July. Ice911 Research is making great strides in scaling their work on a safe, effective method to protect arctic ice. Check out the Xinova Innovators interview featuring Founder, Dr. Leslie Field. The Ice911 team will be participating in the UN Climate Week in NYC in September. Dr. Field will be presenting a keynote address at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland from October 11-13, 2019. Minerva's Marianna Grossman represented Ice911 at a meeting with Dutch Polar scientists in June, setting the stage for Ice911 to present at a meeting of European scientists to be convened in November in The Hague, by the Netherlands Polar Research programme of NWO.
