The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) invites you to our latest Leadership Development Series on Women Leaders in Global Health Policy. Kimberly Russo, CEO of George Washington University (GWU) hospital, and GW’s FIRST female CEO in their 150 year history, will share experiences on leadership development, managing up in your career and how she brings her skills to having GW lead on global health innovation. From policy to practice, join us for this insightful discussion on women leading change.

This interactive roundtable will be followed by a networking reception.

WIIT Hosted June 20th LinkedIn Event at CT Strategies
On June 20 CT Strategies hosted noted career coach and LinkedIn expert Paula Brand for an informative session on “Leveraging LinkedIn: Managing your LinkedIn profile for career growth and visibility.”
 
Paula started her presentation by providing an insight into how recruitment firms and hiring companies search and view LinkedIn profiles for potential candidates. She then provided tips for how one can curate one’s profile so as to enable selection by hiring firms. Her tips and suggestions ranged from writing an effective summary to selecting presentable headshots and background pictures. Paula answered a number of questions on highlighting skills, experience, keywords and media to LinkedIn profiles.

The Organization for Women in International Trade (OWIT) and the OWIT Tampa Bay Chapter are hosting OWIT’s 19th World Conference this year in Tampa, Florida, on October 24, 2019 with the theme ‘Year of the Woman’.

The Tampa Bay region is growing with entrepreneurship and business development at its core. Over the course of the conference, participants, comprised of OWIT global chapter members, partners, and attendees, will be given extraordinary access to trade experts, networking opportunities, and business insights.
