Story starts on the Booze Cruise – Jim tells Pam about his feelings sooner and less dramatically, but it rocks her world. Confusion, feelings, and THOUGHTS ensue. The song “Stay” by Rihanna came into my head and wouldn’t leave while I was writing, hence the titles.
“Are you free for dinner tonight?”
“Yes.” Her reply is immediate, eager, completely certain. He sees her, truly sees her, sees her eyes taking him in and her hands clenched in her lap and her hair the same way it has been every day that he has known her. “Then it’s a date.” It is the most important thing in the world that he clarifies this last piece of information, that she knows what she is getting into. He is almost prepared to hear her recant, to take back her single syllable and tuck it away for someone else. But she doesn’t.
Dear friends, may I present a short collection of events taking place during and after the events depicted in ‘The Job’ (S3) detailing Jim’s break-up with Karen and his first date with Pam. Get excited for some angsty monologuing from Jim, some indignant Karen and some super fluffy adorable first-date non-canon content.
Meeting in an unusual place in life, a broken Jim and Pam try their best to put the pieces of their lives back together while not falling apart and back down the hole that they're trying to help one another out of. Based on the song "How Not To" by Dan + Shay, because do I *ever* write something that *isn't* based on a song?

When the secrets of one employee cost the others twelve hours of peril, locked in the office under a hostage situation, true colors begin to shine through. Essentially taking the General Hospital Metro Court hostage crisis from 2007 and pretending it happened in The Office, so if you've seen it, some plot lines will probably give you nostalgia... :)
The year is 1929. Pamela Beesly was doing alright despite everything going on in America. She was engaged to a miner, Roy Anderson, who swept her off her feet and took her to a new kind of life back in Chicago. After the stock market crashed she began to seek employment in order to stay afloat. Thanks to a sexy local club singer, in a pinstripe suit, named Jimmy Halpert and his in with the owner of the Green Door Tavern Pam was working nights as a waitress at the town's most popular speakeasy. Not to mention she was now employed by the largest Mob Boss in America. Michael Scarn.

Jim and Pam are going to screw everything up. Starting with rule number one: Never fall in love.
She wonders why it is so hard for her to be happy these days. She wonders why it takes her so long to fall asleep, and when she does she tosses around dreams of the office and Jell-O and Jim. She wonders why it has been so easy for her to ignore the swelling of her heart that makes it feel like her chest is going to explode. She wonders why her skin comes alive for Jim but never for Roy. And she wonders why it was so easy for her to nod and push him away, when she knows she should have just pulled him back in and let herself drown in him forever. A response to the 'Pam in Stanford' challenge. Beginning on Casino Night (S2), this AU explores what would have happened if Pam transferred to Stamford instead of Jim.
Pam, Dwight and company scramble to uncover what happened to Jim, while Jim engages in mind games with his reluctant but unstable captor in hopes of being found alive. Set immediately after the events of 'The Merger' (S3), Jim changes his relationship status and moves into the apartment across the hallway from Pam.
It's the annual office Christmas Party. Drinks have been flowing and the music is pumping. Pam may or may not have had a tad much to drink and with her inhibitions down shows the office whats she made of... on the dance floor.
Michael feels very blessed a little earlier than Season 4 and Meredith is spared from being hit by his car. Instead, he hits someone else – because he’s Michael and occasionally he’ll hit someone with his car. So sue him? Set Season 3.
Pam's weekly night out with the girls always reminds her how lucky she is.

As WWII rages Jim is sent to England to serve as a fighter pilot. He and Pam send each other letters as conflict arises in the skies above Europe and back on the home front.
“Karen, I don’t even have his phone number. It’s been four years since we last saw each other. When we broke up.” Pam emphasizes this last part as if Karen needs the reminder of her best friend’s personal history. “It’s not like… Look, I’m not going to fall in love with him again.”
Centered around the events of "Casino Night". Starts off in canon, but slips into AU as angst ensues. My first fic for "The Office".
