The Federal Government investment of $300,000 in a new state-of-the-art medical practice in Jandowae is not just about better health care, it's also a vote of confidence in the town's future. Read more here. 

Mobile Service Centre's Maranoa tour
Mobile Service Centre Golden Wattle will be travelling around Maranoa from 9-26 July. This is a great chance to meet with specialist staff about Medicare, Child Support and Centrelink. In effect: $30,000 instant asset write-off

We’ve extended the instant asset write-off for small businesses to 30 June 2020 and increased its value from $25,000 to $30,000. Details here.

The Yelarbon silos have undergone a very colourful transformation and will boost the town's attractions - giving tourists more reasons to stop and check out the town. 
Farm Household Allowance payment changes
Farm Household Allowance recipients who sell livestock due to hardship such as drought will not have that affect their FHA payment - so long as they put the sale money into their Farm Management Deposit. Click for more info. 
Qld Gov't, fix messy veg. management laws
I've called on the Qld State Government to fix the native vegetation laws. Many graziers are restricted with 35% less feed because of this bureaucratic mess.   Read more here. 
Qld Govt's prickly acacia swifty
The cheque’s cut, our money ($5m) is there and ready to go as part of our flood relief package to stop prickly acacia and we now need the state to come clean on where theirs is. Click for more info.
