BREAKING NEWS: ST has been approved for $25,000 base funding for each of the next three years from Advance Queensland to open and operate our own Tablelands Business Hub in the Atherton Destiny complex in Loder Street.!
YIPPEE! This is going to free us from our utter dependence upon volunteers and open up untold doors for us! What this grant will fund is amazing, including….
• networking activities and catering
• startup events and weekends.

• delivery of education/skills programs
• presentations and fees for presenters
• mentoring sessions
• workshops/forums
We are now well placed, after 5 years of success, to expand our benefits (some listed below) to our members and are excited to be launching our first serious membership drive. We have run well over 150 events since Startup Tablelands began and now that we have the “Tablelands Business Hub” up and running we will not only continue with our regular monthly Lunch and Learns but many other workshops, presentations and one on one sessions from local and visiting entrepreneurs.

Startup and Innovation Tablelands encourages and enables innovation and entrepreneurship on the Tablelands. We are a Social Enterprise that has collaboratively created an organisation delivering programs that give Tablelanders an entrepreneurial mindset, skill set and opportunities to grow and thrive in today's rapidly changing world of small business.
In 2016 ST won the “franchise” to operate the Aust leg of the international Future Agro Challenge (FAC), the premier global ag-innovation pitchfest which takes place in over 60 countries across 5 continents. For the last 3 years, ST has been running the Aust leg of this global phenomenon. FAC culminates every year with its Global Agripreneurs Summit. In year 2 our Tablelands/Aust winner, David Davies, co-founder of AgUnity, won and he went on to top the field and become the Global Agripreneur of the Year for 2018!
In May of 2019 we were successful with an Advance Queensland grant for $75,000 over 3 years to run the Tablelands Business Hub in the Destiny Complex on Loder Street, Atherton. This hub is a dedicated space for fledgling businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs where we will continue to run a full calendar of workshops, forums and events, the venue will also be available to other organisations to use. In addition, the ST Hub will be the base for the running of the annual Australian leg of the Future Agro Challenge.
