Back to School Kickoff
Come and join the fun at the annual SRJHS/SRHS Back to School Kickoff on Tuesday, August 6, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the school. Families and students of all ages are invited to enjoy a cookout, KONA Ice, inflatables, face painting, and more! There will be local business booths, a job fair, and college booths. You are invited to set up a booth of your own and join the community to celebrate the beginning of the school year! Organizations are asked to donate school supplies - paper, pencils, markers, binders, backpacks, etc. - to help students get a good start on the new school year.

Our 4th annual Advanced Manufacturing Camp was a huge success! Campers were treated to lunch, tours, and activities at each partner location. #Cyber campers rocked the competition at the conclusion of our 3rd annual Cyber Camp, coming away with great prizes and a well-deserved sense of accomplishment! A highlight of the camp was a tour of the Cyber Academy at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, where campers learned about protecting vital infrastructure and postsecondary training in cybersecurity.

State of Broadband Report is in!

Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (SIRPC), in partnership with the Community Foundations of Switzerland, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, and Shelby counties commissioned a “State of Broadband” study conducted by the Purdue Center for Regional Development and Purdue Extension. This study provides an overview of the broadband footprint in the region, highlighting gaps in coverage, digital economy trends, and an initial household survey regarding digital inclusiveness.
