Finally Summer

Hello Life Marvelers!
Summer finally arrived rather suddenly, but I am relishing the sunshine and the sweat. I am resuming my daily walk routine and tempted to spend more time outside than indoors. Fortunately I just picked up a portable wire-weaving technique so I can still create while enjoying the park weather. I will be taking some of these new creations to Artem Pop Up Gallery to see how they do. Downtown Evanston has a sidewalk sale July 26-28 with special offers during the weekend. I may pop in for a spell at Artem with extra pieces, and you will be meeting other artisans throughout the weekend. Check my Facebook page for the time frame (I forgot to get my slot before this newsletter got written!).
The Bead & Button Show was a blast as usual. I really enjoyed my pod-making workshop, and as I perfect the technique I will probably showcase these at the Artisan Market July 21 (see below). The Evanston Made month was fabulous, and I look forward to the year-round first Saturdays after seeing all the talent at Evanston Art Center.
I wish you a fabulous Independence Day Holiday and a fabulous July!

July Artisan Market

On Sunday, July 21 from 10 am to 4 pm, I will be at the Chicago Artisan Market. This curated market celebrates the ingenuity of independent, small businesses who channel their passions into creating one-of-a-kind products. This indoor event is held at Morgan Manufacturing – 401 N. Morgan St., Chicago. It will be my first time trying out this quarterly market, and I hope it will be a success.  https://chicagoartisanmarket.com/
