Have you logged your volunteer hours?
|

A great way to partner with WR Triad is by praying with and for us! This month, we're seeking prayer for...
- the safety and well-being of immigrant children and families at our border, as well as wisdom and guidance for all those working with them
- the development of our new youth program - that many students will participate and thrive
- our upcoming "World Relief Community Festival" planned for August 9 - that we would have smooth planning, a good turn out, and many opportunities to build relationships
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. - Psalm 34:17

Tip of the Month
Culture shock is the name given to many uncomfortable emotions and reactions that people experience when they move into a new culture that is very different from their own. Learning about the phases and characteristics of culture shock can help us be mindful and considerate of the discomfort felt by those experiencing this sensation.
