Hi ...
How's your Summer begun? If like us you had a bit of a damp start in June, maybe now you've setup the BBQ and are really making the most of the long evenings. The countryside is looking so lush in comparison to last year, when we had to bring in the fire pit and BBQ ban (No plans for a similar ban this year).
The Summer season may well be upon us, but the Deepdale Music events haven't finished. On 14th July we welcome The Lighters for a Sunday Session. And on 3rd August we welcome back The Pantaloons, with their hilarious open air theatre take on Sense & Sensibility. And excitement is very much building towards Deepdale Festival in September with the incredible line-up that Chris has put together.
Throughout the Summer, there's an abundance of events happening all along the North Norfolk Coast. Don't miss the exhibition at Houghton Hall of Henry Moore sculptures (until 29th September). The Summer series of events from Norfolk Wildlife Trust are well under way. It's fetes season, and always fun to discover the quirky games each village now calls a tradition. Check what's on (and keep posting your events) online at: www.deepdalebackpackers.co.uk/events/
Wherever you are visiting this Summer, we hope you have a brilliant time, and look forward to welcoming you back to Deepdale soon.

We've joined the Refill Revolution
Very pleased to say that we've joined the Refill Revolution, with taps at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping and Dalegate Market registered with the app, giving places in Burnham Deepdale where people can refill their water bottles for free.
The idea is to hugely remove the reliance on single use water bottles, a small but useful step in the war on plastics.

Not only does Deepdale have the incredibly exciting Norfolk band of the moment Morganway headlining, they also have the core of the acclaimed Shackleton Trio, supplemented with two hugely talented musicians to become the Cobbler Bob String Band. And the unique and brilliant folk music of Tilly Moses, with her band, fresh from the recording of her second album.

The Saturday line-up at the Deepdale Festival is just bursting with talent and sparkles with musical gems all the way through the bill, right from the start of the day, so you really won’t want to miss a single act!
The Brick Barn headliners Man The Lifeboats are set to build on their storming Sunday appearance last year, with stomping folk rock impossible not to jump around to. Over on the Orchard Stage, you simply mustn’t miss the wonderful nationally acclaimed Kitty Macfarlane, singing songs from her simply beautiful Namer of Clouds album, followed by classy multi-influenced Cambridge band Fred’s House to close out that stage.

The Sunday line-up for this year’s Deepdale Festival is simply one you shouldn’t miss!
A full day and evening of stunning music. Deepdale has the great pleasure of welcoming the hugely influential folk music luminary Martin Carthy to the Brick Barn Stage.
