Food Security in Drouin: Post Intervention Report 2019
CWGPCP have recently released a new report: Food Security in Drouin: Post Intervention Report 2019. This report describes the levels of food security in Drouin as identified through the administration of USDA Food Security Survey, conducted in 2019.
Results show whilst an overall decline in food security has been observed compared to the previous study conducted in 2017, three out of four population groups included in the study remain classified as ‘food secure’ in 2019. This research also highlights that ‘Adults with Children and on a Pension or Healthcare Card’ remain food insecure and that further interventions and support are required for this population group.
