Community Scorecard Results
Continuing our story on the Community Scorecard results in last month’s edition, the future priorities the community asked us to focus on are areas the City has already been working on. This shows previous research, which guided the City’s priorities, set us on the right path and that the community still cares about the same things.
Kelmscott Hall reopened
The Kelmscott Hall was officially reopened after a $2.1 million refurbishment last month.

Representatives from various sporting clubs, the Kelmscott Agricultural Society, builders, architects, staff and councillors attended a small reopening ceremony, along with students from Kelmscott Primary School who held their first school assembly in the hall since its refurbishment.
AFAC scoop the prize-pool
Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre (AFAC) won the Parks & Leisure Australia’s Community Facility of the Year Award for WA at the recent Awards of Excellence.
Armadale Library Extension
The exciting extension of Armadale Library will give residents an opportunity to develop their creative skills, undertake group study, or bring their own devices and work outside of the office.

Les Mills Group Fitness Mega Launch

The Mega Launch will showcase tracks from every Les Mills program that AFAC currently offers including Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Combat, CXWORX, Body Balance and RPM. The launch is a great way for AFAC members and the wider community to get a taste of group fitness classes that they may not have tried before, without having to commit to a full class.

This July Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre (AFAC) are bringing the excitement of Tour de France to Armadale with their very own Tour de Armadale!

From 6 to 28 July AFAC is celebrating all things cycling with plenty of prizes and giveaways. For every Group Cycle or RPM class that members complete they’ll go in the draw to win a cycle prize pack inclusive of a cycle jersey, water bottle, towel and a drawstring bag.
