- For the opportunity Jess & I (Paul) had to spend time with IOP city council members who accepted our invitation to view the movie Emanuel, about the Charleston shooting, it was moving and packed with the redemptive message of forgiveness in Christ

Would you pray...
... that all those who consider DeepWater Church their home might hunger and thirst for God
... for a desire to pursue Jesus in our personal lives through the Word and prayer
... for the preaching of the Word - for Paul and others on the team who preach
... that the Spirit's presence would be powerful each Sunday in worship service and it would be a place of refreshing joy!
... that we would be a passionate worshiping people
FAITH FAMILY
... people would be drawn to attend Faith Family Member Class on July 13
... for there to be so much love, joy and authenticity in our faith family that it is noticeable and desired by others in our city
... that we will raise up and develop new leaders
... that we would care for our faith family with great love and compassion
... for children who participated in VBS & students who participated in the Student Summer Experience to grow
... for more servants in the areas of children's ministry, worship/media, set-up/breakdown and d*group leadership
... the development of our prayer ministry
DEEPLY LOVING THE ISLAND & BEYOND
... pray that we would joyfully share about Jesus and that His Name would be exalted throughout the Isle of Palms and to the ends of the Earth
... that our DeepWater family would share Christ with those in their circle of 3 people that are close to them but far from God
... for the start of our partnership in the Dominican Republic (possible vision trip to the community we will partner with)
... pray for our kickoff August 18th at the IOP rec department at 5 PM - and word getting out, that God would draw people to our family
... pray for the Aug 4 ISLAND wide prayer night - Pastor Phil (St. Marks), Pastor Doug (Sullivan's Island Baptist Church), and other leaders will join together for a night of prayer focused on changing the islands, Mt. Pleasant, and our neighborhoods
OTHER THINGS TO PRAY FOR
... new leadership team members - Angelica Annichino, Children's Minister & Jo Giles, Next Generation Minister (will work with students & support in children's ministry) - for the Holy Spirit to give them wisdom and inspiration in their new roles.
...leadership team as they lead into the fall season - continued wisdom for our current worship location and Sunday time, we are open-handed about when and where we meet
... pray for two local church plants that we support and pray for - Uptown Church (downtown Charleston) & Live Oak Church (John's Island)

Maci (who is 2 this month, will attend a 2-day program...this is for our sanity, ha ha!)
