The Canadian Authors Association, Niagara Branch is an association of writers helping other writers in the art of composing and getting published their literary work. They provide monthly programs between September and June and have an annual short story contest for fiction writers with the top 15 winners published in an anthology. The City of Niagara Falls Recreation and Culture Department invites Niagara-based artists to submit a design concept for PlayPlayPlay!!! – a public outdoor art display and musical installation. This project will consist of individual artists each painting one functioning upright piano and one bench. The reinvented pianos will be placed in the community across Niagara Falls to enjoy visually and play instrumentally from Labour Day to at least Thanksgiving 2019. All pianos will be indoors or covered at night. Three new pianos will be located at:

A temporary installation of Street Art throughout Niagara Falls that resonates with the history of the city, the local residents who may well remember the building’s earlier uses, and for the public's enjoyment.
There are 11 locations throughout Niagara Falls involved, representing a cross-section of locations, as well as themes. The art installation is anticipated to run August 8 to September 8, 2019, weather permitting.
