BISHOP'S VISIT TO ST. FRANCIS

Sunday at St. Francis: Bishop Skip Adams visited St. Francis, Charleston on July 7 to celebrate and preach, and also receive one member into The Episcopal Church.

Read the Bishop's sermon for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost.

Prayer Calendar: This week we are praying for the Episcopal Diocese of Dominican Republic on our Diocesan Prayer Calendar. Our diocese has had a companion relationship with the Dominican Republic for many years, and we are represented on the Dominican Development Group by the Rev. Mac Magee.

About the Prayer Calendar: This concludes the Bishop's calendar of visitations for 2018-2019, but through the summer we continue to pray weekly for institutions of our Diocese. We also continue to pray for our fellow Anglicans worldwide on the Anglican Cycle of Prayer. Find the calendar here.

"No matter where one may stand on the complex issues of immigration, refugees and border security, I trust you will see that we are seeking to do so in a manner that is grounded in prayer and seeks action that is rooted in the Gospel," the Bishop wrote.
