I will be flying solo in July as Rep. Kessinger will be out of town. However, I've invited Kansas Action for Children's Director of Government Relations, Adrienne Olejnik, to be our special guest for an update on children's social welfare issues in Kansas.
Additionally, the Kansas Supreme Court announced their decision a few weeks ago that the 2017 school finance formula is constitutional, following the edits made during the 2019 legislative session. The court is retaining jurisdiction to ensure the legislature continues to hold up its end of the bargain. There's a lot to discuss, please join us:
