"Birds, Bugs, and Slugs" Featured at the Former Governors’ Mansion
BISMARCK, N.D. — Join the staff at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site in Bismarck on Friday, July 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. for “Birds, Bugs, and Slugs,” an urban safari on the grounds of the mansion. The free event is geared toward young children and will encourage bird watching, bug hunting, and animal observations. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
Staff will assist with finding, drawing, and identifying species that make the mansion their home. Cookies and lemonade will be served.
Summer hours at the Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site, 320 East Avenue B, Bismarck, are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, noon-4 p.m. For more information, call 701.328.9528.
