This is a great opportunity to (re)experience the best bits of last year’s Aust Long Championships map, including Tower Hill plus everyone’s favourite Rocky Paddock. Championship-standard courses planned by Frank Tomas for Wallaringa Orienteers. Note that there are only four Enter On The Day courses, so pre-enter and pay online before Wed July 31
st to run your preferred age class/course and guarantee yourself a waterproof map!
2. OSA Survey on the Twilight and Sprint Series Format
OSA is inviting all interested orienteers to provide feedback on the Twilight and Sprint Series, with the focus on the Twilight Series. The link to the survey is the quick links at the top of the home page on the OSA web site at

The survey is open until Sunday evening 11
th August.

3. New Permanent Courses in South Parklands
New permanent orienteering courses have just been opened at Blue Gum Park (P20)/Kurangga. The start/finish is just to the west of Tree Climb on the north side of Greenhill Road. Thanks to Adrian Uppill for all his work in establishing these courses.

4. OSA Coaching Scholar
The 2019/20 OSA Coaching Scholar is Evelin Brautigam from USA. She will be arriving in SA in early September, and will probably be here until April 2020.
As in previous years OSA would like to provide here with a car, so we need our members help. If you have a car that will be available for some or all of that period, can you please notify Bridget Anderson (bigalo101@hotmail.com) and Robin Uppill (aruppill@chariot.net.au). OSA will contribute to car registration and 3rd party/property insurance and car servicing for any period for which the car is provided.
5. The Queensland MTBO Champs
& round 2 of the national Series is being held on 31 Aug- 1st Sept at Killarney, 2.5 hours south of Brisbane.
A good chance to head north and get some Queensland sunshine, with sprint, middle & long events on the 2 day program.

This bulletin contains all the details on the event centre, race locations and the courses on offer for you to get your entry in.
Entry is now open via Eventor and there’s Early Bird entry rates, for those quick off the mark, so jump to it!
6. AUS-NZL MTBO Challenge - nominations open
Nominations are now open for this year’s challenge team.
The challenge will be run in conjunction with the Australian MTBO Championships at Maryborough, VIC from 25-27th October.
NZOF have nominated W21, W40, W60, M21, M40, M50, M60 & M70 as the classes they wish to contest.
