HELP FLIP VA!

The entire Virginia state legislature is up for election this fall. If Democrats flip 3 seats we can prevent further Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression after the 2020 census. You can make a difference. From now through November, IndivisibleHoCoMD will be working with SisterDistrict to help two great candidates - Joshua Cole and Hala Ayala - with door knocking, phonebanks, and postcards. You can find a complete list of opportunities HERE and the Updates will carry reminders of the next event.

CANVASSING for COLE

Carpools will meet at the Barnes and Noble Patio at Columbia Mall and leave at 8 AM. Canvassing starts at the Fredericksburg office located at 618 Kenmore Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.

Dates planned are August 3 and 17, September 14 and 28, October 12 and 26, November 2, 3, 4, and 5.

August 4 and 25, September 22, October 6 and 20, November 2, 3, and 4.
The first 5 phone banks will be held at 7335 Carved Stone, Columbia and the November events will be at 7050 Oakland Mills Rd, Columbia. All except the last will be from 3 to 5 PM. The final one before election day will be 6 to 8 PM

Indivisible National has just announced a new working group for Indivisible group leaders, group members, and supporters who identify as people of color. Please note that this invitation is meant only for those who identity as a person of color.
