Quote of the week

“I'm drowning in debt for a piece of paper I never received.”

Says Ashlee, 27 years old, who took out about $12,000 in loans to go to college right after she graduated from high school in 2010. Now she's in default and owes more than she did when she took her loans out. "Nobody should be in this position," she says. Some of the people struggling the most to pay back their debt are the millions of students who took out student loans but never finished a degree.
