 It is with a heavy heart we share that Sister Christine Stephens, CDP passed away on July 18, 2019. During her 45-year organizing career she served as National Co-Director of the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) and the West/Southwest IAF where she was instrumental in developing and supervising organizations across the Southwest US. During her career, Sr. Christine and her colleagues grew the IAF to 65 organizations, making it the largest and longest standing network of faith and community-based organizations in the country.
Given the countless lives she touched, a Rosary, Wake, and Funeral will be held on July 25th and July 26th in San Antonio, Texas. The Rosary is Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. and the Wake is at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
