Over the last 10 months, Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson led a coalition of 30 leaders from the public, private, and social sectors in developing a report and recommendations for making Preschool for All a reality. 

That report, just released, calls for a dramatic expansion of affordable, high-quality preschool opportunities for children in Multnomah County. A huge thank you to the Commissioner, community leaders, and the eight SVP Portland Partners who participated in this visionary process.

In 2014, SVP Portland and Dialogues in Action (DIA) convened leaders from early childhood organizations in a Project Impact cohort. The cohort’s goal was to increase capacity to design and improve evaluation, as well as to collect, analyze, use, and share data to understand early childhood impact and inform program improvements. 

Five years later, these organizations have sustained capacity to prove as well as improve their impact.
