Mic Mac AAC Rowing News

REMINDER:

The information meeting on this activity for this event is happening on Tuesday, July 23, at 8:15PM in the Mic Mac AAC Rowing Boathouse. See below for details, and hope to see you there!

Have you ever dreamed of a leisurely row in the Italian Alps? the River Thames? the wilderness of Tasmania?

Have you ever been on vacation and saw a place that made you think - what a perfect place to go for a row?

Ruth Marr, owner of a company called Rowing the World, is coming to Mic Mac AAC to share information about rowing tourism trip options for 2020. See below for details, and check out her website at: www.rowingtheworld.com.

Ruth will talk about the destinations available, estimated costs, what to expect, how to prepare, etc.

For anyone who is from outside of Halifax/Dartmouth, or just not able to attend the information meeting, please send a message to: micmacaacrowing@gmail.com, so we can keep you informed.

If there is enough interest in organizing a group, a process will be developed for selecting a time and place to go!

ROWING THE WORLD INFORMATION MEETING DETAILS:

WHO:
- Anyone aged 18+
- No rowing experience required
- At the meeting we will discuss recommended fitness and rowing skill requirements which can be developed before the trip departs
- For current or past rowers, this trip is open to people of all club affiliations, within and outside of Nova Scotia

WHEN:
- Tuesday, July 23 at 8:15PM for the meeting
- Trip to happen in 2020

- Mic Mac AAC Rowing Docks / Boathouse
