Here's proof that if you want to change behavior, stories are extremely effective...

A randomized experiment with 704 participants compared a fictional film to a non-fiction doc with the same information about cervical cancer.

Both films improved knowledge on the topic, BUT the women who saw the film were much more likely to have had a Pap smear afterwards, and Mexican-American women increased their screening rate by 50%!
