Greenbusch is assisting the City to identify short and long-term improvement strategies to maximize A/V system reliability and to bring system functionality up to modern technology standards in the Portland City Hall Council Chambers. A Final Assessment Report was issued and the project is in the final stages of Design.
ThePhase 1 Master Plan included:
Assessment, Testing & Evaluation of existing equipment such as microphones, loudspeakers, and video presentation systems
Acoustical analysis of equipment performance in the spaces
End-user needs assessment
Assistive listening system performance evaluation
Evaluation of the lighting control system functionality and integration with A/V control system
Budgetary cost estimate, upgrade priority checklist, and a phased timeline for system improvements
Built in 1923, Grant High School is undergoing a major renovation/expansion led by Mahlum Architects. Retaining its original historic brick façade, the 294,194 sf updates include a new gymnasium, added floor space, new 2-story commons featuring an eatery and community gathering space, remodeled classrooms and basement, fully renovated auditorium, and new outdoor fields.
