Alumna brings her teaching skills to a career in medicine and research

Recent alumna Hannah Ramsay has been accepted into the prestigious MD/PhD program here at Queen's. Read about how her experience as a Con.Ed. student helped her to accomplish this goal.

IT Support Unavailable 1 - 2 pm until August 5

Due to a staffing shortage, IT support will be unavailable from 1 - 2 pm until August 5. Please check your technology prior to 1PM to ensure support is provided or send an email to edhelp@queensu.ca at least 24h prior to schedule support availability during these hours.

Invitation to Artists
The Studio Gallery invites artists within the Queen’s Education community to submit artwork for consideration for the Faculty of Education Juried Art Exhibition.
Established and emerging artists from the Concurrent Education, Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Education, Education Graduate programs, Education Alumni and Current and Retired Faculty and Staff are encouraged to apply.

Deadlines:
  • Application Deadline: Monday, August 19
  • Successful applicants notified by Sunday, August 25
  • Artwork delivered to The Studio Gallery on or before Friday, September 6
  • Artwork available for pick-up after October 18 (tentative-exhibition could be extended)

We are very proud to announce that Dr. Lindsay Morcom was awarded a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Language Revitalization and Decolonizing Education. This position recognizes Lindsay’s important work in Indigenous language revitalization and reconciliatory and decolonizing education.
Please join us in congratulating Lindsay on this distinguished accomplishment.
