Chico DSA and Sunrise Movement are holding an action against PG&E rate increases on July 18th at the California Public Utility Commission forum and we are hoping you would be able participate.
What: Action against PG&E rate increases
Where: Butte County Association of Governments Building, 326 Huss Ln, Chico, CA 95928
When: Thursday, July 18th, at 12:30 pm and 8 pm
Join Chico DSA, Sunrise Movement, and other Butte County residents in telling the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) NO to PG&E's proposed rate increases. On July 18th, the CPUC is holding a public forum to provide an opportunity for PG&E customers to comment on the utility's request to increase rates. Protests will be staged all day long, and speeches, performances, and readings of demands will take place form 12:30 to 8:00 pm.
The demands are as follows: no bail out of PG&E, public and worker control of PG&E, and a Green New Deal.
