As our youth advocate Mike Lhotsky wrote, "The kids represented us in a positive way and I am just so thankful that our kids get to do these kind of things...the keynote was really really good, music and energizers were amazing and made me feel like I was 30 again..." LOL - sounds like everyone had an amazing time!
Items needed for the students of Wilburn Elementary for the new school year... We have been asked to gather new socks, new underwear (large sizes especially for boys/girls) and new or gently used coats/jackets for the students. If you knit or crochet, mittens, scarves, and beanies (aka toboggans!) are always gratefully received. The school items needed include baby wipes, tissues, hand sanitizer, expo dry erase markers, cardstock paper, stitched composition books (not spiral), and kindergarten journals. The pages of the journals are half blank, half ruled. Please leave any items you are able to donate in the church office by Monday, August 19th.
David returns to the church office on Monday, July 22nd. In his absence, the church office will be closed. Virginia will check email and mail daily, and will respond if there is a situation that needs immediate attention. Thank you!
