Students BOOST their interest in the brain

Curious middle schoolers got up close and personal with the human brain in the Trent Semans Center this June, thanks to the Building Opportunities and Overtures in Science and Technology (BOOST) program and the Neurology Department’s Leonard White, PhD.  Read more.

Rebecca Hurst, MD
As a neuromuscular fellow at Duke, Rebecca Hurst, MD, used the arm of her mentor, Janice Massey, MD, to refine her single-fiber EMG technique. Now, she’s using the knowledge she gained here at USF Healthcare, where among other duties she is Chief of Neurology at Tampa General Hospital she sees patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting, and mentors both 4th-year medical students and residents. In this week's Spotlight interview, Hurst discusses these experiences and more. Read more.
