Shadow a Lifeguard



Have you ever considered getting a job as a lifeguard but not sure what is involved?
We have the solution!
Take our Shadow a Lifeguard class.
This free class, held every Tuesday through August 13, will introduce you to this fun and rewarding job.

Public Shooting Days at Common Point Shooting Range
Every Saturday Through August 31



The public shooting days are held every Saturday until August 31
at Common Point Outdoor Shooting Range.
Located at 970 Noels Draw Lane, the shooting range is open to the public every Saturday
from June 1 to August 31 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Our Wonderful World Summer Travel Series


In its 13th season, Our Wonderful World Travel Series is a global adventure of stories and breathtaking photos shared by local and regional trekkers. EVRPD is partnering with the Estes Valley Library for this popular summer series every Tuesday. Topics and presenters change weekly.

Noxious Weed Application to Start July 22



To comply with Colorado's Noxious Weed Act, EVRPD will be performing annual weed eradication applications from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, weather permitting.
The applications will take place along the Lake Estes Trail and at
Wapiti Meadows, Cherokee Draw and Stanley Park.
Signs will be in place to identify areas that have been treated.

EVCC Receives Another Award


Adolfson and Peterson Construction, builders of the Estes Valley Community Center, have received another award—National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award from Associated Builders
and Contractors—for their stellar work on the building.
They will be presenting the award to the Town of Estes Park and EVRPD at
an award ceremony and we want you to share in the excitement.

When: Saturday, August 3
Time: 11 a.m.—12 p.m.
Where: Estes Valley Community Center
Beverages and snacks following short ceremony.

Zumba Gold Every Monday and Wednesday



Zumba is a fun dance class with energizing music and a stellar teacher who makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. Join instructor Patricia Gaultier each Monday at 9 a.m. and Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. for this fun workout designed for the older participant.

in the upper main lobby. This applies even when using free programs or attending events to help us know who is in the building if there is an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation.

EVCC Hires New Fitness Coordinator



Join us in welcoming the new Estes Valley Community Center Fitness Coordinator, John McKinnis. 
He is excited to develop the rec center's programming, expand the types of classes offered, and get you signed up with personal trainers to achieve your fitness goals.

The Lake Estes Marina docks and store are now open seven days a week.
Monday to Sunday
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Expanded Ages for Cardio and Fitness Classes



Young adults ages 12 and 13 can now participate in cardio and fitness classes as well as use the cardio and fitness equipment at the Estes Valley Community Center after completing a fitness consultation.
