The 16th Annual ISMA Exclusive School Tournament, "The Tiger Challenge" is set for Saturday, August 24th. All students, regardless of age, rank, or length of training arequalified to compete in this event. All competitors must be current students of ISMA.

Builds Confidence - Just like recitals, a tournament teaches a student how to have confidence in front of an audience. This is a great confidence builder for shy students.
Humbling - For those students who are over confident, tournaments can sometimes be an awakening that it's still necessary to work for what you want. Just because you think doesn't necessarily mean you can do (especially in front of others).
Fun - compete amongst other ISMA students in a fun atmosphere.
Challenging - Those who are the most proficient at their skills will earn medals. Practice, confidence, and performance.
Fair - students compete with others who are close to their same skill level. Judges are higher ranks in the school with knowledge of the events.
Low Pressure - unlike open tournaments, the ISMA school tournament teaches how to compete without the pressures of strict rules and strange competitors from other styles/schools.
Low Cost – Lower tournament registration costs, no spectator fees, no video/camera fees.
Unlike many sporting events and many open tournaments that give everyone an "award" for competition, the Tiger Challenge actually promotes the principle that you have to work to get ahead for the things you want in life and they are not automatically handed to you just because you showed up.
