This is one of our favorite questions to ask women entrepreneurs in the Women Who Own It series, because a) it tends to reveal a lot about a person and b) we get some excellent book ideas!

Many successful business owners are avid readers, and for good reason -- reading can help stimulate creativity, relieve stress, expand your vocabulary, improve your memory and focus, and even improve your ability to problem-solve. If nothing else, reading can be a fantastic, temporary escape from the real world -- which, let's face it, we all need once in a while. 

So, what are you reading? We're compiling an epic summer reading list from our readers which we'll publish on the Women Owned website next month. Send us one or two of your summer reading list favorites to womenowned@wbenc.org and include your name, city and business name. We'll pull together a comprehensive list of your favorite books of the summer and promote in a future issue of Women Owned Wednesday. We can't wait to hear from you!
