Evening Everyone,
We hope you were able to make it out for West Seattle Summerfest this past weekend. The weather was just about perfect. Allison and I shared a few pints out on the patio -- wish we had that space all year!
We're now ready to settle in for the remainder of the Summer. We've got some great breweries coming up for the Thursday tasting events (Boneyard, Single Hill, Modern Times are the next 3). Plus our first ever Lager Fest is coming up in August (starts Saturday August 10th).
Tomorrow (Thursday July 18th; 6-8PM) we've got the folks from Boneyard coming in! They sent up a couple special kegs (Barrel Aged Breakfast Stout and Pinot Noir Barrel Aged Blood Orange Pale Ale "Pinot Pulp"). Plus we'll be sampling you on the Busta Rye (a Rye Pale), Speedy Goseales, and Notorious Triple IPA! So here's a few fun facts about Boneyard and The Beer Junction!
***Boneyard RPM was on our opening draft list for the first day of our current location on Wednesday March 28th, 2012 and is still on tap after all these years (except for a day or two here and there where we ran out).
***Boneyard RPM is our number one selling beer of all time (including package product-- and RPM has never been packaged!). It has the most pints of any beer sold and the most growlers of any beer sold too.
***Boneyard Diablo Rojo and Boneyard Notorious are our 2nd and 3rd best selling beers of all time (including package product). That's right-- Boneyard has the top 3 spots of all-time
**Boneyard did the 3rd ever Bottleshop Collaboration Project Beer in September of 2017

*** The guys at Best of Hands are up to something.... might want to check out their Instagram Page *** Alki Beach has a new spot -- Locust Cidery and Brewery is now OPEN! See WSB article HERE. *** Allison and I will be donating beers (and pouring beers) after the Float Dodger 5K this Saturday at West Seattle Runner. Learn more about the event HERE.
