THIS Tuesday July 23 - Money Smart Train-the-Trainer Workshop
8:00am to 11:30am - Held at Riverworks The Vibe, 526 E. Concordia, Milwaukee
In 2018, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) released a revised curricula adding content and activities. This release included a supplemental guide on creating workshops focused on people with disabilities. Join us to  explore and discuss the supplemental guide, new and revised content for MSA's 14 modules and take time to practice training tools developed in two modules:  Module 5: Your Savings and Public Benefits and Module 12: Making Housing Decisions. 

Financial education and professionals working to improve access to financial education for people with disabilities are encouraged to attend from the nonprofit, financial service or government sectors. This training is FREE - register here.

Also, Lilliann Paine from UW Extension is interested in your feedback as a participant in FEG!  Consider sharing 15 minutes of your time over a brief phone conversation, to help better understand what you learned from the FEG space, how it relates to health and well-being, etc. She is scheduling times during the afternoon from July 22 - August 9. WWBIC is looking for a Regional Project Director. This full-time leadership position is responsible for overall coordination and expansion of WWBIC’s business education and financial awareness programs in the greater Milwaukee/Waukesha region. Milwaukee JobsWork is currently recruiting motivated individuals for their 2 week Career Readiness Workshop (CRW).  The CRW is an important step toward securing stable employment, attaining financial stability, and achieving life goals while building a career. After individuals graduate from the CRW, we connect them to our network of employer partners in health care, manufacturing, warehousing, commercial cleaning and other fields.
