WAA What's Happening in August

Please join us for our third annual juried Summer Art Show at the Celebrate Woodinville Festival August 17th, 2019. The art show has expanded to feature more than 60 pieces of art including sculpture. This year the artists will have their work displayed at Woodhouse Winery following the event August 21st through September 29th.

The Summer Art Show is going to be a wonderful show at Celebrate Woodinville Festival on August 17th from noon to 5 pm and continuing at The Woodhouse Wine Estates through September 29. In order to make this happen we'll need volunteers at the following times:

1. At Celebrate Woodinville Festival in Wilmot Park on Saturday, August 17th:

6-8 volunteers are needed at 9 am to set up the panels for 4 10x10 tents and hang artwork
6-8 volunteers are needed at 5 pm to take down the art and package it and take down the panels
4 volunteers are needed to help with the Summer Art Show from 12-5 pm

2. At The Woodhouse Wine Estates, 15500 Woodinville-Redmond Road, NE, C600, Woodinville on Monday, August 19th at 10 am:

6-8 volunteers are needed to hang the 60 pieces of art and place 9 pedestals

3. At The Woodhouse Wine Estates, Art Reception and Awards Presentation on Wednesday, August 21st - Opening Day!

2 volunteers to assist with art sales and pass out literature about WAA from 5 - 9 pm. (Art Reception is at 6:30-8pm in the Barrel Room.

4. At The Woodhouse Wine Estates - 2 volunteers to handle art sales and pass out WAA literature during their Happy Hour on every Wednesday from 6-9 pm. (They have live music!)

5. At The Woodhouse Wine Estates on Sunday, September 29th from 1-4 pm, need help with artists picking up unsold artwork and customers picking up sold artwork.

Teen Artist Program and Exhibit Call for Artists

On September 28th 2019 from 10am-4pm the Woodinville Arts Alliance Teen Council will present a juried Teen Art Show during the Sammamish Valley Fall Celebration at 21 Acres in Woodinville, WA.

2D and 3D Visual Art entries of any medium created by youth ages 12-18 in the greater Seattle area will be accepted until August 28th, 2019. Accepted entries will be announced September 6th, 2019.
