Another busy month for the HiveMQ team with two new releases: 1) a new Enterprise Security Extension, and 2) a new HiveMQ 4.2 release.  This month's newsletter features highlights from these releases and other articles about HiveMQ.

Did you know HiveMQ is now available in open source. The HiveMQ MQTT broker and the HiveMQ MQTT client are both availabe on GitHub. Visit our HiveMQ GitHub page to join our open source community. We are always looking for feedback and contributions.

HiveMQ Enterprise Security Extension

Security is a key concern for organization deploying IoT solutions. At HiveMQ, we want to make IoT security as easy as possible for our customers. Therefore, we are pleased to release the new HiveMQ Enterprise Security Extension. We believe this is a better way for integrating device authentication and authorization into HiveMQ and MQTT workflows. Read more about the new product in our announcement blog.

New HiveMQ 4.2 Release

Our new HiveMQ 4.2 release is now available to our customers.  The key features for this release include:
- Backup and restore feature for MQTT platform data
- Role based access control for the HiveMQ Control Center
- New audit log feature in the HiveMQ Control Center
- Updates to the Extension SDK

HiveMQ MQTT Client Blog Series

Our blog series about the HiveMQ MQTT Client continues with two new features: Fluent API and Android Support.
