The Perfect Summer Sipper from Southbrook Organic Vineyards

The Cabernet Franc really shines through in Southbrook Triomphe Organic Cabernet Franc Rosé 2018, with notes of bell pepper alongside red raspberry, cherry and orange citrus tones. This rosé is lithe, tangy, fresh and long, with a subtle Cab Franc savouriness on the close. It will be a nice sipper, but would also match well with a charcuterie platter, grilled salmon, or black bean veggie burgers.

"This is a fairly hefty, dry, quite smooth and savoury Cab Franc rosé with soft, fairly complex aromas of persimmon, sour red currant and spice. It is medium-full, quite substantial if lacking some intensity. Very good length. Score: 88 Pts."
