Summer Reading Club 2019!
Everything you need to know
Summer Reading Club has been tons of fun so far and we couldn't be happier to still have a few weeks left! This means there are still free programs (ages 5-9) and youth workshops (ages 10+) happening for a few more weeks. They end with our Year End Party on August 22nd where we will congratulate those who have completed the 50 Day Reading Challenge and celebrate the amazing summer we have had together! For more information and registration, please visit this link to our website!
Our Bowen-Wide Scavenger Hunt has been a hit, and it's not too late to join in! How it works: each week a clue is released about a location somewhere on Bowen; at that location, there will be a secret word posted on a recognizable orange sign. Keep track of the words you find and after you've found them all, unscramble them to uncover a secret phrase that can win you an entry to our ice cream party! For more details and past weeks' clues, click on this link!
Don't forget about our Writing Contest! Submissions due on August 11th! Click the image below for details.
You can also click here to read an article about the importance of Summer Reading Club, written by our Summer Reading Club Coordinator, Katie Welsh.
