Cette 4ème partie de la série Au risque d’entraîner l’éveil nous incite à de nouvelles interconnexions, entre espaces réels et espaces imaginés. Roxa Hy et Nien Tzu Weng explorent les dimensions paradoxales et poétiques des environnements urbains, interrogeant les actions et habitudes qu’ils conditionnent. Layla Marcelle Mrozowski et Kyla Gardiner présentent une fiction spéculative qui offre un accès vers un monde alternatif, guidé par l’univers de la science-fiction féministe et engagée.
Cette soirée sera aussi le temps du dévoilement de l’oeuvre semi-permanente de l’artiste nigérian Ayò Akínwándé, lauréat 2019 de la Résidence Place Publique.

This fourth proposal in the Possible Awakenings series encourages new interconnections where real spaces are superimposed with imagined spaces. Roxa Hy and Nien Tzu Weng explore the paradoxical and poetic dimensions of urban environments and question the conditioning these environments have on our actions and habits. Informed by feminist science-fiction narratives,Layla Marcelle Mrozowski and Kyla Gardiner present a speculative fiction in which they offer an alternative world to the public.
This evening will also be the time to unveil the semi-permanent installation by Nigerian artist Ayò Akínwándé, laureate of the 2019 Place Publique Residency.
