The TO-REACH Consortium is glad to announce the extension of its Consultation deadline.
Have your say until Friday, 26th July!

The TO-REACH Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) provides a European strategy to advance our knowledge and understanding of the adoption, implementation and potential scale-up of service and policy innovations while also addressing their translation to other settings within and across countries.
This living document was informed by systematic analysis of priority challenges for service and policy innovations to strengthen health systems as identified from policy documents as well as through consultation roundtables within Member States and a Europe-wide stakeholder survey, along with a review of the relevant academic literature.

Have your Say – Join our SRA Consultation

TO-REACH has launched an online consultation on its Strategic Research Agenda. The aim is to gather inputs on the document from a wide range of stakeholders both at national and European level to move towards the development of a future EU joint research programme on health services and health systems research.

The results of the online consultation will support both the advancement of the Strategic Research Agenda of TO-REACH and the preparation of a future EU Joint Research Programme.

Recipes for a Healthier Europe by the new Commission President-elect?

Brussels, 16 July 2019 – On behalf of patients, medical associations, health managers and the wider European public health community, we welcome the positive vote for Ursula von der Leyen as the new President-elect of the European Commission. The support of the European Parliament is a huge responsibility and a concrete set of actions are needed to regain citizens’ trust.

Achieving the strong coordination required for a coherent and robust health policy requires political leadership, drive and dedicated Commission resources to meet citizens’ expectations. We call on Ms von der Leyen to include a senior level health commissioner in her team, with a strong mandate, and to ensure that one of the Vice-Presidents of the Commission has overall responsibility for mainstreaming health across the whole of the Commission. We have outlined the main responsibilities for such a role in our joint call.
