If you're looking for summer children and young peoples ativities there's a round up of what's on locally this summer.

National Park City Festival
20th - 28th July 2019

FREE events in your parks

London National Park City week is July 20th to 28th. Be part of it! The launch will be marked with London's first National Park City Festival on July 20th. DeptfordFolk have had support from the Mayor of London & Deptford Challenge Trust for FREE events across National Park City week.

Join us for Forest School, Cycle Rides, art workshops and more. Come along to the DeptfordFolk Summer Social on Tuesday July 2rd in Festa Sul Prato at 7.30pm and get more involved in improving local parks and the routes we use to get to them.

Volunteering Opportunity with Clean-Up UK
We've teamed up with Clean-Up UK to provide an opportunity to volunteer and clean-up Folkestone Gardens with a litter pick. The team have successfully worked with residents of Woodpecker Road to clean-up the environment there and it's great they have turned their attention to the parks.

The plan is to meet at 11am outside Festa Sul Prato, they'll have a pick around the park. Finishing up by 1pm and then heading over to Deptford Park to join the fun.

Next Deptford Folk Social
Come along to the DeptfordFolk Summer Meeting & Social. Tuesday July 23rd 7.30pm-9pm. It's an informal gathering open to all. We will be discussing: See you there!
Festivals in Deptford Park July 20th & 21st
On top of the National Park City Festival events, on Saturday July 20th Evelyn Ward Councillors have organised a Multicultural Event from 12pm - 8pm. The event is funded by Lewisham Council There will be food from around the world, DJs, Live Music and free eye-tests.

On Sunday July 21st the African Cultural Celebration is back for its 6th year. This will run from 9am-10pm.

Also on Sunday July 21st there is a soccer tournament in the park from 9am.
