We ALL have a role in ending domestic abuse and sexual violence.
What does the ROLE of men look like?

We are excited to announce that UK SAYS NO MORE, in partnership with Stay Safe Global, are undertaking a national survey that will enable us to understand how men can play an active role in ending domestic abuse and sexual violence.

According to our poll (Opinium, 2018), over 30% of men knew someone who endured domestic abuse. Moreover, one in three were not confident in responding to or advising individuals who suffered domestic abuse. Through this survey, we would like to further explore:
  • Men’s understanding of domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • How men could participate in the prevention of domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • Existing interventions and programs around healthy relationships

Please take 10 minutes of your time to complete the survey and share it widely to ensure it reaches as many men as possible. The survey will be open until the 31st of July. For more information, visit our webpage. Should you have further enquiries, please contact uksaysnomore@hestia.org

We are aware that SafeLives have recently distributed an important survey ‘Voices of Men and Boys’. Different to our survey in scope, SafeLives look at men and boys attitudes to relationships, and therefore we recommend you complete it if you have not yet done so.

With Kind Regards,
UK Says No More

UK SAYS NO MORE is a national campaign launched in 2016 to raise awareness of and end domestic abuse and sexual violence. It is facilitated by London charity Hestia and delivered in partnership with over 400 organisations, charities, community groups and Parliamentary Champions. The campaign unites and strengthens a diverse community of members under one powerful, visual symbol, and provides open source tools, information and resources for individuals and organisations to get involved.

Stay Safe Global are committed to ending domestic abuse and sexual violence. They have delivered personal safety workshops globally, from India to the USA. At times, courses are delivered in the wake of tragic events such as mass shootings, terrorist attacks, incidents in the workplace or as part of an organisation’s routine training. No matter where in the world the courses are delivered, and regardless of the reason, groups want to talk about domestic abuse and sexual violence in the workplace and ways in which they can put an end to it.

Stay Safe Global have partnered with UK SAYS NO MORE to ensure they are part of the solution.

Stay Safe Gloabl Mission:
  • Deliver workshops including practical, physical skills that help individuals own their space, gain confidence and empower them with risk avoidance and awareness skills.
  • Support and facilitate organisations working closely with those at risk of violence including survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
  • Change culture at an individual, organisational and global level to improve society as a whole.
