DYK? There’s Still Time to Apply for RTO7 Programs

As you may already know, there have been some funding changes to the RTOs across Ontario since last fall’s provincial election.  RTO7 is pleased to announce that, despite changes to our funding, we are able to continue our Partnership and Implementation Programs.  Even better news, applications are still being accepted as funds are still available!

Partnership Programs
Take advantage now of available funding through RTO7’s many Partnership Programs.  Applications are still open for all programs - be sure to submit your application as soon as possible, even if your projects are scheduled for later this year.  It’s an effective and economical way to leverage your business dollars by partnering them with RTO7’s for an increased budget on a variety of projects, including digital marketing, storytelling, video and image creation.

Note that applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until all funds are allocated.

Partnership Program Funding Highlights

The Video/Image Development Program is one of our programs that is especially great value when added to your investment:

  • RTO7 pays for 2/3 of the cost of your video or imagery shoot
  • Your video/images are then promoted through our BruceGreySimcoe social media advertising campaign that year (if completed on time) and the next year, and likely the next year (at no cost to you)!

The Video/Image Advertising Program is another terrific deal when added to your investment:
  • RTO7 pays 50% of the cost to use the images or video you’ve developed in a paid social media campaign (or you can use your own images/video)
  • Depending on the situation, we may even be able to leverage some funds from the Festival Implementation Program and/or the Tourism Implementation Program to add to your social media campaign

For more information on the program and to apply, visit the Partnership Program Page or email partnerships@rto7.ca.

Implementation Programs

There is still time to apply for our Implementation Programs!

RTO7 has two funding programs for stakeholders to help develop or promote festivals or new product offerings.

The Festival Implementation Program (FIP) is great for regional or emerging festivals who want to:
            a. Attract a new audience
            b. Increase the sustainability of the festival
            c. Increase the quality of the event

Festival organizers must demonstrate how they have invested $1,000 - $2,500 in the festival to achieve one of the three items listed above to be eligible for $1,000-$2,500 in social media ads from RTO7.  Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until January 31, 2020 or until the program is full.  Applications must be made six weeks before the festival.

Full details and application are available on the Festival Implementation Program page.

The Tourism Implementation Program is designed for stakeholders who have invested in a new capital asset in their operation to:
            a. Increase sustainability
            b. Reduce seasonality
            c. Increase visitor spending and/or length of stay
            d. Expand to or develop a new target market

RTO7 will support a digital marketing campaign of $1,000-$2,500 to promote the stakeholder’s investment.  Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until January 31, 2020 or until the program is full.

Full details and application are available on the Tourism Implementation Program page.

The Experience Implementation Program offers coaching, tools/templates and funding to help get new experiences off the ground and into the market place.  Applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis until December 31, 2019 or until the program is full.

Full program details and application are available on the Experience Implementation Program page.
