Wonderful Travels...
Our trip to teach at Torchbearers Yamanakako has already come and gone. What a blessed week it was! So full of wonderful ministry, fellowship, and fun. We especially enjoyed the dynamics of the group of students we got to teach this year about a Lifestyle of Worship. Then on the way home we were extremely blessed to make a connection with Crossroads Nishinomiya church and the Pastor, Fumi Chito and his family. We even extended our stay for one day, to get more fellowship time with them!!! Our video newsletter was shot before we left for this trip, but we haven't been able to upload it until now. Summer Ministry...
Summer ministry is bearing down upon us. You will hear about the upcoming Seinan Summer Bible Camp and also the various ministries of the Texas Team in our video newsletter. Please be in praying for these two weeks of intense ministry. There are over 70 students registered for Bible Camp with Seinan, the most we've ever had! We are excited to share the Gospel with them over the two days at camp.
The Texas Team will be ministering with us through all the usual events. Beach party, BFF worship, Summer School (VBS) and family camp. In addition this year we will be helping a local pastor and his wife build relationships with children at an orphanage as we get to spend an afternoon there with the kids. Please pray for registration for Summer School. So far the numbers are lower than normal. We are hoping to see lots of last minute friends in attendance!
In the Fall...
After School Klub will end its Spring semester next week and we will begin the Fall semester in September. We may be losing a couple of our older students because they need to prepare for entrance exams to Jr. High School. Their younger siblings may also stop attending as well. Please pray that through summer ministry the Lord will lead new families to join After School Klub from the fall. It is such a fun program for kids to learn the Bible and English together and we hope that we might see more in attendance.
Rocky is hard at work on some music projects in the studio. Some of this busy schedule coming up will keep him from getting into the studio until after things settle down. Please pray for creativity to flow and technical problems to stay away, when he does get the time to get into the studio and do some work!
