We regret to report that last Thursday long-time Hanover member JoAnne Rosa died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Her memorial service will be here at Hanover on Saturday, July 27 at 10:00am. Immediately following the service there will be a time to share reflections, stories and a meal. In this difficult time, let us surround JoAnne's family with prayers; that they would receive comfort, light, hope, and peace.

Faith in Action's "Caring for Creation" idea:
Commit to Low or No Waste Grocery Shopping
Some ways to reduce the waste when shopping for groceries are to buy unpackaged fresh fruits and vegetables, brining your own container to a bulk food store, investing in some produce bags to transport fresh foods, avoid prepared foods, and bring your own grocery bags.

Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki and Constituent Services Director Jennifer Prado announced today that FREE electric fans are available for older Wilmington residents to help them cope with the summer season’s higher temperatures. To receive a free fan, citizens should contact Wilmington’s Office of Constituent Services at 302.576.2489, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A person must be at least 65 years old and live within the City limits to be eligible. Proof of age and residency are required. If a person has received a fan from the Constituent Services Office in the past year, they are not eligible for the program.
