G. Louis Grover

Sulis Fine Art presents a series of ten watercolours by G. Louis Grover (fl.1917) depicting various characters from the novels by Charles Dickens. Characters include Barnaby, Alfred Jingle, Fagin, Capt Cuttle, Trotty Veck, Sarah Gamp, Dick Swiveller, Mr Micawber, Barnaby, Sam Weller and Uriah Heep. All are signed, dated and captioned.

Amy F. Bridges

Sulis Fine Art is pleased to bring you a fine collection of works by the artist Amy F. Bridges. Originally contained in a folio submitted and examined at the Royal School of Art. A number of the studies have the 'ESK' stamp; Examined South Kensington'. Bridges was included in the 1903 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and included in the exhibition catalogue records.
