The first harvests are soon to come. With them comes the famous “Guelaguetza fest” in Oaxaca City, to celebrate its soil, traditions and life, with colorful dance.
Meanwhile, at our small but richely assorted store, we’re getting ready to welcome you with open arms.
Come visit us and celebrate the earth with us by touching our black, yellow or red clay pots from six different villages: Amatenango, Atzompa, Coyotepec, Tlapazola, Tonaltepec and Metzontla.
Our team will tell you more about our collaborative design processes, fair trade approach and how we strive to preserve the centuries-old pottery tradition of the southeast of the country.
The great news is: Khadi, our sister organization from San Sebastián Rio Hondo, will be also selling their beautiful, handmade, natural-dyed clothes during this month. Two projects in one space for solidarity!
Plus: our store will be open on sundays (21st and 28th of july)
Take note! ;)
We’ll be waiting for you at Rufino Tamayo 800,
in the heart of Oaxaca City, pretty close to Xochimilco.
