ANDREJS OZOLINS: SUNDAY, JULY 21
Andrejs at Jacksonville Park
On Sunday, July 21, 2pm at Taughannock Park North Pavilion, there will be a Celebration of Life and dish-to-pass for longtime local cycling advocate Andrejs Ozolins, who passed away at the end of May this year (see obituary). Friends, fellow cyclists, inspired community members are all welcome to attend.

Much of the work we do at Bike Walk Tompkins is in the spirit of and continues the vision Andrejs Ozolins held and passionately advocated for. He inspired us, he supported us, he held us to a high standard, and he, more than almost anyone, deeply believed that “it should, without question, be possible for anyone and everyone to walk and bike safely in the City and wherever they need to go.”
