Fri., Sept. 20th - Protective Parents at the Beach Conference
Our Fall 2019 Conference is entitled: Trauma-Informed Practices: Protecting Child Survivors of Domestic Violence & Child Sexual Abuse in the Family Courts.
The purpose of the weekend is to provide an opportunity for protective parents, domestic violence advocates, legal and mental health professionals, policymakers and anyone who cares about child safety to learn and connect. We aim to come together in a way that will inspire meaningful systemic change. We envision a system that effectively focuses on child safety as the number one priority in child custody litigation cases. Friday’s conference features experts and advocates, including California Woman of the Year winner and courageous protective parent, Ana Estevez, as Keynote Speaker (pictured above).
On Saturday morning, protective parents and child advocates can relax and have fun at a no-host brunch and beach retreat at the Back at the Beach Cafe. Be sure to bring your suits and towels!
