Overdose scenes can be difficult, complicated places in which to recognize and gather all the evidence. This CIRMA seminar will help First Responders develop the ability to immediately recognize an overdose scene and the death artifacts related to a fatal overdose. The presenter will show how to analyze and gather information that will aid in processing the scene, including knowing what evidence is pertinent. This seminar will also show the history of specific types of drugs and packaging trends, as this evidence can be overlooked. The instructor will present actual case studies of overdose scenes and the death investigations.
