We have new Summer Students
Welcome Samantha Criddle and Mary-Claire Gutierrez who've doubled the summer staff at the Museum bringing their youthful spark and enthusiasm. We're happy to have them on board. Say hi the next time you drop by!
The Chalkboard Tells an International Story
We are the place to be if you take a peek at who signed the board in the Montrose School House. Visitors come from all over the world to see the Parksville Museum.
What's Popular with our Visitors?
Definitely the Friday Night Market! Meet our blacksmiths who work out of the blacksmith shop. There are two and they're both called Dave. Watch the model trains with Jim and experience an assortment of foods, drinks and trendy items with our eclectic vendors while listening to great musicians. It's happening every Friday night from 5 - 9 pm.
Dave J. Friesen, on the left is Crossed Heart Forge and Dave Kasprick is on the right. His forge is called Red Cod Forge.
It's Summer and Movie Night is Coming!!!
For teens it's the perfect combination of a hot summer night watching a movie on the big screen outside. We're setting up an outdoor theatre and two movies are featured as part of Movie Night. The first movie is a family movie called RV. The second is a thriller. PJ's are totally okay.
Are Aggies, Alley, Shooter and Mibs Part of Your Vocabulary?
If so, come see the marbles Robert Held has created especially for the Museum. Aren't they beautiful?
